First Annual Community Fair

Ematai and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center organized the first annual Advance Healthcare & Financial Planning Community Fair on January 7, 2024 in Los Angeles. The fair was hosted by Young Israel of Century City and sponsored by Los Angeles Jewish Health, Mount Sinai Memorial Parks, and Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles.

The fair included numerous booths from local organizations, free health screenings by Cedars-Sinai, and sessions from Selwyn Gerber on financial planning, Rabbi Brody and Rabbi Weiner on advance directives, and Patrician Greenberg on aging well. The participating organizations included our sponsors as listed above, as well as Ateres Avigail, OPICA, Maple Counseling, Kaiser Permanente, One Legacy, Wise and Healthy Aging, the Alzheimers Association, the Arthritis Foundation, UBS Financial, Renewal, Simpler Horizons, and Foundation for Senior Services.
